US Media vs America
05.23.05 (6:42 am) [edit]
The "mainstream" media just can't avoid the temptation to put down the USA?
Every day there is another "big story" about how evil the the United States is to the world.
An so every day there must be many stories about how the Progressives continue to try to destroy their own hosts.
The simple answer is don't buy, subscribe to or watch their tripe!
We have cancelled HBO and Showtime since they insist on all the good specials putting down the USA.
No newspaper and no "news" magazines come to this home.

Sedition or treason at Newsweek and/or CBS?
05.16.05 (11:22 am) [edit]
Sedition[/ url] is any conduct that tends toward insurrection but does not amount to treason. Sedition is directed against a government, but without an overt act. Sedition includes subversion of a Constitution and incitement of discontent (or of resistance) to lawful authority.
Treason[/u rl]: "The Constitution defines treason as "levying War against [the United States], orin adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort...."
Seditious acts include causing insurrection or disturbances in a state or a revolt against the legitimate authority. Sedition includes any commotion, though not aimed at direct and open violence against the laws.
The difference between sedition and treason consists primarily in the ultimate object of the violation to the public peace. Sedition does not consist of levying war against a government nor of adhering to its enemies, giving enemies aid, and giving enemies comfort.
"Whoever, when the United States is at war, shall willfully make or convey false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States, or to promote the success of its enemies, or shall willfully make or convey false reports or false statements, or say or do anything except by way of bona fide and not disloyal advice to an investor or investors, with intent to obstruct the sale by the United States of bonds or other securities of the United States or the making of loans by or to the United States, and whoever when the United States is at war, shall willfully cause or attempt to cause, or incite or attempt to incite, insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or shall willfully obstruct or attempt to obstruct the recruiting or enlistment services of the United States, and whoever, when the United States is at war, shall willfully utter, print, write or publish any disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language about the form of government of the United States or the Constitution of the United States, or the military or naval forces of the United States, or the flag of the United States, or the uniform of the Army or Navy of the United States into contempt, scorn, contumely, or disrepute, or shall willfully utter, print, write, or publish any language intended to incite, provoke, or encourage resistance to the United States, or to promote the cause of its enemies, or shall willfully display the flag of any foreign enemy, or shall willfully by utterance, writing, printing, publication, or language spoken, urge, incite, or advocate any curtailment of production in this country of any thing or things, product or products, necessary or essential to the prosecution of the war in which the United States may be engaged, with intent by such curtailment to cripple or hinder the United States in the prosecution of war, and whoever shall willfully advocate, teach, defend, or suggest the doing of any of the acts or things in this section enumerated, and whoever shall by word or act support or favor the cause of any country with which the United States is at war or by word or act oppose the cause of the United States therein, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $10,000 or the imprisonment for not more than twenty years, or both: Provided, That any employee or official of the United States Government who commits any disloyal act or utters any unpatriotic or disloyal language, or who, in an abusive and violent manner criticizes the Army or Navy or the flag of the United States shall be at once dismissed from the service..."[Sedition Act of 1918, Section 3, repealed 1921].
The blatent publishing of the "false" report in Newsweek regards the Quran has brought great international repercussions againt the United States. Likewise the open distortions and extreme overstatements of the Abu Ghraib prison scandal for political gain by CBS and the other mainstream Liberal media caused great harm to the credability of the US government.
The "half-assed apology" by Newsweek does not release them from the obvious interest in supporting their anti-usa agenda by publishing this article to encourage Muslims to hate the United States and support Islamic terrorism.
The Abu Ghraib prison scandal was likewise an effort by CBS to discredit the United States and the President in time of war. All of the "main stream media" the jumped on the bandwagon are equally guilty!
There should be serious repercussions: economic, legal, public and social against Newsweek.
This is not a 1st ammendment issue!!!

Internet brain-dead
05.09.05 (5:31 pm) [edit]
We write this with some hesitation, but it needs to be said.
A lot of really important sites that represent Conservative issues are totally out of sync with Internet technology.
Perhaps it's because they are stuck in the "beltway" of D.C. or maybe because they think that they have no need to "market" their message.
Sorry, presenting a junk 1996 style web page to your visitors is a real good way to make them lose interest in your message.
The site doesn't need to go crazy with junk features, just present a modern interface.
The Progressives understand this concept and are very adapt at promoting their schemes without really explaining the effects.
Usabilty is important in all aspects of media.

Is Google another closet Left-Wing site?
05.05.05 (4:01 pm) [edit]
In recent times various items have come to light that make us question if Google is really an 'independent' search service:
In 2004, something like 100% of Google employees supported and voted for Kerry. -- Google money engine for Democrats only
Just days ago, adverts from the Right were rejected while Left_Wing attack ads continue to run? -- Google censoring conservative ads?
The 'management' of Goggle says "no,no,no', but still this happens?
Perhaps Google 'top managment' has good intentions, but has failed by ommission to direct the employees to refrain from 'political bias' when accepting advertising and manipulating search results.
If Google wants to continue be the 'top gun', it is very important that they establish and enforce information policies that truely insure they are not a 'political machine' without bothering to announce the fact.
We hear that the search engine business is very competitive, so it might bhove them to not risk losing the significant part of the US population that is looking for information that is not tainted by an unannounced political agenda/bias.

Another Progressive Trick
05.04.05 (5:23 pm) [edit]
SaveOurCourts = Total BS!
It's really:
"SaveOur Activist Liberal Courts from "real" judges that make decisions based on the Constitution!"
The Left thrives on their current control of the judiciary to advance their agendas in spite of the will of the people.
They are in deep worry mode about the judiciary being fixed!!!
